22% Of Families Of Children With Disabilities Experience Financial Hardship
Among families with children with disabilities, 22.3% are more likely to experience six types of financial hardships that affect each family’s ability to pay for health care for the child, according to an analysis of data from 2019-2022, which is nearly twice the rate of families of children without disabilities (12.6%).
