The Nemours CareConnect telehealth pediatric specialist consultation service is being used by 25 Delaware-area hospital emergency rooms. The service provides  real-time patient evaluation and physician consultation from pediatricians at the Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Delaware. During the evaluation, the remote specialist can see the vital sign monitor at the patient’s bedside, and can receive other relevant information from the health care professionals with the child and family.
