25% Of Americans Plan To Cut Charitable Donations In 2026

For 2026, 25% of Americans plan to reduce their charitable donations due to concerns about household finances and the broader economy, according to a recent survey. About 4% plan to stop donating, and 7% plan to replace some donations with volunteering. The majority of the survey participants, 48%, said they plan to make no change to their charitable donations, and 16% plan to increase their charitable giving.
