Hospital and health systems participating in the Medicaid Transformation Project, a national collaborative effort to transform health care and related social needs for Medicaid beneficiaries, are launching an initiative to improve behavioral health crisis services. The Medicaid Transformation Project launched in June 2018. The participants are 28 health systems with 360 hospitals in 28 states. On April 23, 2019, the participating health systems began working on digital health solutions addressing behavioral health services.
