Texas DSRIP Projects Focus On Complex Consumers, 30% Of Projects Have Behavioral Health Components

In August 2014, Texas Medicaid had accepted and funded 1,280 regional partnership project proposals for its 1115 Transformation Waiver Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) initiative, with a majority of projects focused on complex consumers. The five-year waiver runs from federal fiscal year 2011 through federal fiscal year 2016. The state accepted DSRIP proposals through April 2013; the projects were finalized in August 2014.
