40% Of Workers Say Employers Effectively Support Well-Being
In the 6th Annual Workplace Wellness Survey published by the Employee Benefit Research Institute (EBRI) and Greenwald Research, 40% of workers said their employers are “good” or “excellent” at helping improve overall well-being, including workplace, physical, emotional, and financial health. By comparison, about 80% of workers said employers have a responsibility to support employee mental and emotional health, with similar shares expressing this expectation for physical and financial wellness.
The survey included 1,401 full- and part-time U.S. workers ages 21 to 64 who completed 20-minute online interviews between July 18 and August 5, 2025.
