42% Of Those With Diabetes Say Their Condition Has At Least A Moderate Impact On Their Mental Health

Approximately 42% of those with Type 2 diabetes say their condition has at least a moderate impact on their mental health. Of these individuals, younger individuals with the condition say they are affected the most: 31% of those in the Millennial population and Generation Z report at least a moderate impact. A total of 23% of those in Generation X and 9% in the Baby Boomer generation claim this level of impact. Overall, 37% of all respondents say they worry about their Type 2 diabetes either often (22%) or all of the time (15%).
