64% Of Americans Preferred Value-Based Care To Fee-For-Service Models, But Dislike The Name
Two-thirds of Americans prefer to receive health care services from provider organizations compensated through value-based care models that focus on the quality of care delivered, rather than fee-for-service (FFS) models based on the volume of services delivered. Consumers preferred care that included recognition of and higher compensation for provider organizations whose services improve the consumer’s overall health and coordination of consumer care with other provider organizations.
