70% Of Workers Report Workplace Stress As Demand For Mental Health Benefits Increases

U.S. workers are reporting rising levels of workplace stress and increasing demand for employer-sponsored mental health resources, according to the 2026 National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)-Ipsos Workplace Mental Health Poll.

Overall, 70% of employees in 2025 and 2026 reported feeling stressed about the state of the world, and 30% of employees in 2026 described themselves as “very stressed,” up from 26% in 2025 and 19% in 2024.
