75% Of Older Adults Interested In ‘Smart Home’ Technology To Age In Place
A recent survey to gauge consumer interest in community-based solutions for aged care found that nearly 75% of 4,000 adults age 50 and over in six developed countries would likely take advantage of “smart home” sensors and devices that could alert health care providers and families to potential emergencies. Those surveyed have reasons to look to technology for support.
