Research: 95% Of Children Were Insured In 2015

In 2015, 95.2% of children were insured and 4.8% were uninsured, down from 7.1% uninsured in 2013. Between 2013 and 2015, approximately 1.7 million children gained coverage, mostly through Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). During the 2013 to 2015 period, the number of children with employer-sponsored coverage remained stable.
