Acadia Acquires Louisiana-Based MMO Behavioral Health

On December 2, 2015 Acadia Healthcare Company, Inc. announced that it acquired MMO Behavioral Health Systems, based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. MMO Behavioral Health Systems operates two acute inpatient behavioral health care facilities, one in the greater Baton Rouge and one in the New Orleans area, with a total of 80 beds. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Acadia has an existing presence in Louisiana, but the two facilities are Acadia’s first in Baton Rouge and New Orleans.
