Connecticut Health Insurance Exchange Rebidding Contracts For Broker Agencies

The Connecticut Health Insurance Exchange is in the process of selecting lead broker agencies to provide call center enrollment assistance for qualified health plans (QHPs) and mixed Medicaid/commercial plans available through its Access Health CT marketplace. More than 110,000 state residents are currently enrolled in QHPs through Access Health CT; about 40% were enrolled by brokers.

Access Health CT released a request for proposals (RFP) to rebid the contracts on June 27, 2016, with proposals due by July 22, 2016. Access Health CT anticipates selecting brokers by August 11, 2016, and the contracts will start in time for . . .
