Administration For Children & Families Cancels TANF Pilot Project Awarded In November 2024

The federal Administration for Children and Families (ACF) canceled a five-state pilot project for the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Work and Family Well-Being pilot. The selected states, announced in November 2024—California, Kentucky, Maine, Minnesota, and Ohio—were testing new program performance and accountability measures over the six-year pilot term.
