Alabama Department Of Corrections Selects YesCare For Next Prison Health Care Contract To Start April 1, 2023

On December 27, 2022, the Alabama Department of Corrections (ADOC) announced that it had selected YesCare for the state’s next prison health care contract, which starts April 1, 2023. Negotiations are in process, but as of January 25, 2023, no contract details have been finalized for public release. The initial contract term is slated to run for four years and six months, will end on September 30, 2027, and will be followed by two additional one-year extension periods.
