Alabama Medicaid Announces Selection Of Alabama Select Network For Long-Term Care Case Management

On June 29, 2018, the Alabama Medicaid Agency announced an intent to award its Integrated Care Network (ICN) contract to Alabama Select Network, LLC. Alabama Select Network would receive a per member per month payment to administer an ICN that will provide enhanced case management, education, and outreach services to most Medicaid beneficiaries receiving long-term services and supports (LTSS). Actual LTSS services would continue to be reimbursed fee-for-service by the state. The contract is slated to begin on October 1, 2018, assuming that the state’s 1915(b) waiver receives federal approval by that date.
