Alaska Medicaid Releases RFI For Test Of Coordinated Care Demonstration Projects
The Alaska Department of Health (DOH) is planning to test Medicaid coordinated care models with innovative payment processes. The state seeks to test a variety of health care delivery models with respect to cost, access, and quality of care. To gain public input on the plans, the DOH released a request for information (RFI 24-003) on June 17, 2024, with responses due by July 18, 2024. The state plans to use the RFI responses to inform a possible subsequent request for proposals.
