Almost One-Third Of Privately Insured Consumers With Health Care Claims Did Not See A Primary Care Professional
Almost one-third (29%) of privately insured health care consumers from 2016 to 2022 who submitted health care claims did not see a primary care professional. Across the states, the percentage of health care consumers with no primary care visits ranged from 16% in Massachusetts to 43% in Tennessee.
