Alzheimer’s Disease Diagnosis More Common In Those With Chronic Stress & Depression
People aged between 18 and 65 years with a previous diagnosis of chronic stress and depression were more likely than other people to be diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment or Alzheimer's disease. The odds of having Alzheimer disease was 145% higher in those with chronic stress, 132% higher in those with depression, and 300% in those with both chronic stress and depression, when compared to those without these conditions.
