Alzheimer’s San Diego Launches Grant-Funded Dementia Gatekeepers Program For Community Members
Alzheimer’s San Diego recently launched Dementia Gatekeepers, a grant-funded program to train community members to recognize dementia and connect people with symptoms to resources. Alzheimer’s San Diego partnered with Alzheimer’s Orange County to create the Dementia Gatekeepers program through a federal grant from the Administration for Community Living. As of late January 2020, Alzheimer’s San Diego had trained 30 people toward its goal of training at least 200.
