Amazon To Acquire Primary Care Provider One Medical For Almost $4 Billion
On July 21, 2022, Amazon and 1Life Healthcare, Inc., the parent company of primary care provider organization One Medical, entered into a definitive merger agreement under which Amazon will acquire One Medical for about $3.9 billion. After the deal is complete, One Medical will become part of Amazon Health Services. One Medical’s current chief executive officer, Amir Dan Rubin, will continue in that role.
