Arizona Medicaid Issues RFP For Health Plans For Consumers With Serious Mental Illness
On August 4, 2021, the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) released a Competitive Contract Expansion request for proposals (RFP) health plans to provide integrated Medicaid and non-Medicaid physical and behavioral health services for individuals with serious mental illness (SMI). There will be awards in each of the state’s three geographic service areas (GSAs). Only incumbent AHCCCS Complete Care (ACC) health plans are eligible to submit a proposal.
