Arizona Medicaid Spending For Supports For Children With Developmental Disabilities Increased 150% In Last Two Years
Arizona Medicaid spending for attendant care and habilitation services for children with developmental disabilities reached nearly $615 million in fiscal year (FY) 2025. This is an increase of 152% since FY 2023 and of 696% since FY 2019. Between FY 2019 and FY 2025, the number of minor Arizona Long Term Care System-Developmental Disabilities (ALTCS-DD) members receiving attendant care or habilitation services increased 106%, from 8,756 to 18,034.
