Arkansas Medicaid Waiver Renewal Request Would Reinstate Work Requirements For 212,000 ARHOME Beneficiaries
The Arkansas Medicaid program plans to implement new federal community engagement and work-reporting requirements by January 1, 2027, for the nearly 212,000 beneficiaries ages 19 to 64 enrolled in the Arkansas Health and Opportunity for Me (ARHOME) demonstration, according to its waiver renewal request submitted to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) on April 30, 2026. If approved as requested, the ARHOME demonstration would run through December 31, 2031.
