Bernalillo County, New Mexico, To Launch Two Behavioral Health Initiatives
On December 13, 2016, the Bernalillo County Board of Commissioners approved plans to launch two new behavioral health initiatives: mobile crisis teams and a supportive housing program. The mobile crisis team will cost the county about $500,000 annually. The scattered site supportive housing program contract will cost the county about $1.2 million annually. Both initiatives will be funded by the Bernalillo County Behavioral Health Tax.
