Bicycle Health Partners With Albertsons To Offer Buprenorphine Injections

People receiving virtual treatment for opioid use disorder (OUD) through Bicycle Health are able to receive their maintenance Sublocade injections at Albertson’s pharmacies in 17 states under an agreement announced on August 31, 2023. Sublocade is an extended-release buprenorphine formulation administered monthly; it is an alternative to daily oral buprenorphine/naloxone (Suboxone) tablets. Both formulations are used for medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder.
