Billings Clinic Launches Statewide Telepsychiatry Consultation Pilot For The Montana Department Of Corrections
On January 20, 2016, Billings Clinic in Montana and the Rimrock Foundation launched a telepsychiatry consultation pilot program with the Montana Department of Corrections (DOC). The Billings Clinic will provide a specialist consultation panel that includes a psychiatrist, pharmacist, nurse, and social worker who will regularly meet via video conferencing with the DOC's behavioral health and addiction treatment professionals helping offenders prepare for reentry. The panel will also include addiction treatment specialists from the Rimrock Foundation. The panel consultations are slated to begin in February 2016.
