Blood Test In Development To Diagnose Pre-Clinical Alzheimer’s Disease
A new blood test being developed was able to identify biomarkers of Alzheimer’s disease before the start of clinical symptoms. The test was 84% accurate in a recent small clinical trial. The researchers are now using the test in a larger trial with 800 people.
The blood test is based on an immuno-chemical analysis using an infrared sensor.
