Blue Cross NC Selects Carrot Inc. & Virta Health For Digital Chronic Disease Management

Starting November 1, 2020, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (Blue Cross NC) launched partnerships with two digital programs to empower members to reverse their chronic diseases. The partnerships are with Carrot Inc., which provides a smoking cessation intervention called Pivot, and Virta Health, which provides an intervention to reverse type 2 diabetes. The programs are available at no additional cost to Blue Cross NC’s individual under-65 members and fully insured group members.
