Blue Shield Of California Partners With Cricket Health On Kidney Care Program

On August 6, 2020, Blue Shield of California and Cricket Health announced a new care coordination program for Blue Shield commercial members diagnosed with late-stage chronic kidney disease or end-stage renal disease. The program is for members enrolled in Blue Shield’s fully insured preferred provider organization (PPO) benefit plans. Cricket Health will provide a multidisciplinary care team that includes nurses, pharmacists, social workers, dietitians, and trained peer mentors.
