British Columbia Launches Road To Recovery As Part Of Its Seamless Addiction Treatment Program

On December 4, 2023, British Columbia, Canada (B.C.) outlined the Road to Recovery (R2R) initiative at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver as part of a seamless addiction treatment program in the province. R2R is a new, multi-year phased approach to scale-up and expand addiction services. The goal is to ensure that addiction care meets demand, and to make recovery from addiction possible for residents. R2R started in the fall of 2023, and has assisted 94 people so far.
