California Felony Reconviction Rates Dropped From 30% In 2011 To 22% In 2015

California’s felony reconviction rate dropped from 30% in October 2011 to 22% in October 2015. The rearrest rate for any offense for felony offenders within two years declined from 68% to 66%, and the felony rearrest rate declined from 56% to 53%. The two-year reconviction rate for any offense dropped from 41% to 35%.
