California Medicaid Reports Continued Growth & Impact From Enhanced Care Management & Community Supports Services

The California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) released new data showing continued growth and impact from Medicaid Enhanced Care Management (ECM) and Community Supports programs as part of the state’s Medi-Cal (the state's Medicaid program) transformation under the California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAIM) initiative. These services are intended to improve the health of Medi-Cal members and reduce the use of avoidable health care services, such as emergency department visits and hospital stays.
