California’s Medicaid Health Homes Program Slated For A July 2018 Launch
On December 19, 2017, the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) approved California’s plan to launch a Medicaid health home program focused on people with chronic health conditions, as well as mental health and addiction disorders. The first wave of implementation is scheduled for July 2018. The state anticipates full implementation across 29 counties by January 2020.
