California’s Orange County To Contract For Integrated Community Services
On March 4, 2020, the Orange County, California Health Care Agency (HCA) issued a request for proposals (RFP 042-C025905-EP) seeking a vendor for the Medicaid Integrated Community Services (ICS) program, a program that provides consumers with both physical health and supportive behavioral health services. ICS is for Medicaid-eligible adult county residents age 18 and older who are living with a mental illness and/or an addiction disorder. The funding source for these services is the state’s Mental Health Service Act (MHSA) and federal Substance Abuse Block Grant (SABG) funds.
