CareOregon Preparing To Launch Behavioral Health SHIFT Initiative To Implement Person-Centered Care
CareOregon, one of the state’s Medicaid coordinated care organizations (CCOs), is launching the Strategic Healthcare Investment for Transformation (SHIFT) initiative with six specialty behavioral health organizations and is preparing them to adopt person-centered care and eventually feedback-informed treatment (FIT). The SHIFT initiative will prepare these organizations to participate in advanced value-based payment models. CareOregon announced the first SHIFT cohort in April 2024: Cascadia Health, Clackamas County Health Centers, ColumbiaCare Services, Morrison Child and Family Services, New Narrative, and VOA Oregon.
