Catholic Charities Opens $53 Million Caritas Center Homeless Services Hub In Santa Rosa, California
On September 9, 2022, Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Santa Rosa opened Caritas Center, a homeless services hub in Sonoma County, California. The center cost $53 million to develop. The center has nearly 200 shelter beds, a health clinic and a drop-in center where homeless residents can access shower and laundry facilities, and meet with case workers. The health clinic within Caritas Center is operated in partnership with Santa Rosa Community Health.
