Cedars-Sinai Pilots Aiva Virtual Assistant In Patient Rooms

On February 25, 2019, Cedars-Sinai announced a pilot program allowing consumers to use an Alexa-powered platform, called Aiva, in inpatient rooms. Aiva is a consumer-centered voice platform for hospitals and other care environments. It runs on Echo Dot smart speaker devices with the Amazon Alexa voice assistant, as well as on Google Home devices with Google Assistant.
