Centene To Acquire MHM Services, Expanding Correctional Health Care Reach

On February 26, 2018, Centene Corporation announced it had signed a definitive agreement to acquire MHM Services, Inc. (MHM). The acquisition will expand Centene's national correctional health care activities. The acquisition is slated to close during the first quarter of 2018. Under the terms of the agreement, Centene will acquire 100% of the stock of MHM, including its 49% ownership of Centurion, a correctional health care services joint venture between Centene and MHM. Centene has not disclosed the purchase price; MHM is privately held.
