Centene Partners With North Carolina Associations’ Medicaid Venture

On January 10, 2017, Centene Corporation and North Carolina Medical Society (NCMS) announced an agreement to collaborate with the North Carolina Community Health Center Association (NCCHCA) on a joint venture, Carolina Complete Health. The joint venture will bid for a managed care contract under the state’s upcoming Medicaid reform initiative. The state intends to issue a request for proposals during March 2018, and the new contracts would go live by July 1, 2019.
