Children With Autism Treated With Transcranial Pulsed Current Stimulation Had Improved Social Functioning & Sleep  

Children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) who were treated with transcranial pulsed current stimulation (tPCS) had improved social functioning and sleep compared to a control (sham) group, according to a Chinese study. The goal of the research was to examine the safety and efficacy of tPCS in improving social functioning and sleep disorders in children with ASD. The researchers concluded that active tPCS may offer meaningful clinical benefits for individuals with ASD.
