Clark County, Nevada, Awards $2.8 Million In Residential Foster Care Contracts For Services For Sexually Exploited Youth
On February 7, 2023, the Clark County, Nevada, Board of Commissioners approved $2.8 million for two contracts to provide specialized residential foster care services for sexually exploited youth: 1) St. Jude’s Ranch for Children ($1.3 million) and 2) Eagle Quest ($1.5 million).
The organizations will provide residential services and therapeutic treatment care for girls (9- to 17- years old) who are victims of prostitution and/or at high-risk of being commercially sexually exploited. St. Jude’s Ranch will house 12 girls. Eagle Quest will house 6 and will also offer vocational training for the residents . . .
