Arizona Medicaid Waiver Approved Raise Upper Income For CHIP & To Launch ‘Parents As Paid Caregivers’ Program

The Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) announced on February 20, 2024, that it has received approval from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to increase the upper income limit of KidsCare, the state’s Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), to 225% of the federal poverty level (FPL), beginning April 1, 2024.
