CMS Approves Oregon SPA For First Medicaid Mobile Behavioral Crisis Program
The Oregon Medicaid program received federal approval for a state plan amendment (SPA) to add mobile behavioral health crisis intervention services as a new state plan benefit. The SPA authorizes Oregon to provide the services for up to five years through March 31, 2027. For the next three years, Oregon will receive an enhanced 85% federal Medicaid matching rate for mobile crisis services delivered to Medicaid beneficiaries.
