Tennessee To Expand HCBS For Non-Medicaid Eligible Children With Disabilities
On November 2, 2020, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) approved the state of Tennessee’s request to expand Medicaid home- and community-based services (HCBS) for non-Medicaid eligible children with disabilities via the Katie Beckett waiver. The program is for children under the age of 18 with disabilities or complex medical needs who are not Medicaid eligible because of their parent’s income or assets.
