CMS To End Federal Medicaid Coverage Of Some Non-Medical Benefits
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) does not intend to approve or renew Medicaid Section 1115 waivers seeking to use Medicaid funds to pay for some non-medical benefits for beneficiaries such as housing supports, nutrition programs, non-medical in-home services for people not fully eligible for Medicaid, high-speed internet for rural health care provider organizations, and other workforce development initiatives.
