Colorado Eases Assisted Living Residence Regulations
On May 28, 2025, Colorado Governor Jared Polis signed legislation that includes provisions to ease regulations that affect how assisted living residences add capacity. The legislation, House Bill 25-1216 (HB25-1213), goes into effect on August 5, 2025. The goal is to reduce the cost of providing assisted living services. ;
