Colorado Legislators Support $15.5 Million Budget Proposal To Fund 667 New Adult Developmental Disability Waiver Enrollments
The Colorado Joint Budget Committee has proposed spending $15.5 million to end the waiting list for the Home and Community-Based Services Waiver for Persons with Developmental Disabilities (HCBS-DD). The appropriation will fund 667 new waiver enrollments once the Long Bill is signed by the governor.
The Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF) intends to distribute the new waiver enrollments on a per-capita basis across the state.
