Colorado Medicaid Cuts Community Connector Rates & Annual Service Limits Amid $1 Billion Budget Shortfall

The Colorado Medicaid program cut rates and service limits for its child-focused Community Connector service starting April 1, 2026. The reimbursement rate reductions are $7.71 per 15-minute unit outside Denver County and $7.83 per unit in Denver County. In addition, a 50% reduction in annual service limits, from 2,080 units (520 hours) to 1,040 units (260 hours) per year, was put in place.
