Colorado Submits Section 1115 SUD Demonstration Amendment To Add HRSN Services
Colorado Medicaid plans to cover health-related social needs (HRSNs) through its addiction treatment continuum of care. It has been preparing an amendment to its Expanding the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Continuum of Care Section Medicaid 1115 waiver demonstration, and on August 28, 2024, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services announced that it had received the submission and was opening a public comment period (ended September 27, 2024).
